I absolutely love the Chontales dining chairs I just received. I originally saw them on Instagram and loved the San Geronimo pattern. I decided to order two armed dining chairs in walnut to sit at the ends of a long midcentury dining table. I loved Masaya’s story of sustainability, design and craftsmanship. The chairs are incredibly well made and I love that you can see evidence of hand-craftsmanship in the details. The woven portion is extremely tight and supportive and the wood grain is beautiful.

Your chairs have always caught my eye. My friend, Diana Taylor, uses your company for her houses in Costa Rica and said they’re as comfortable as they are beautiful. So I made the choice to get four chairs. She isn’t wrong!!! Outside of the long lead time, these chairs are perfection!!

I saw this chair in an eclectic store in Southwest Harbor, Maine and loved it. A clerk showed me a catalog where I was able to find other items I might be interested in. I looked the company up on line and ordered the chairs custom made in the colors I wanted. Delivery time was reasonable and price was acceptable. The comfort is great and they accent our dinning area beautifully.

This photo should have gone with my first review, just sent - we have one with arms and one without and use them for guests in the living/conversation area AND at the dining table.
We use these chairs interchangeably as seating for guests in the living area and then at the table with our dining set as needed for guests. They are perfect for our small place, comfortable, stable, and absolutely beautiful. First order got lost in transit, but your company was very good about fixing the problem and we can recommend Masaya as trustworthy. I have four more pictures that show how we use them in two areas, but could only upload one at a time so let me know if you want the others.
We saw your products at the Marriott Hacienda Belen in San Jose, Costa Rica. We needed replacement kitchen chairs for our vacation home and immediately chose the Chontales Dining Chair with Mesoamerica pattern; we love them and feel they are appropriate for our home’s decor.

These chairs are so beautiful! We have a new home and everyone that comes over compliments these chairs. They add a fresh pop of color to our mountain modern home and look fantastic with our RH table. It's not matchy-matchy- its a piece of art that people can touch and sit in. I kinda don't want to tell everyone about them because its fun having something unusual but I have to give credit to the makers of these beautiful chairs and benches.

We bought two of these chairs for the dining area of our houseboat. They goo perfectly with some Crate and Barrel curtains and other furniture, and bring a unique design and color scheme to the entire houseboat. We also bought one armless version of the same chair for the study area of the houseboat.
