The handwoven Chontales adds texture to contemporary spaces. It's designed to maximize comfort while still making a statement.
Manila rope is woven by hand using traditional methods. Patterns are designed to blablbal.
Each Chontales is handmade from reforested teak by our artisans, using traditional woodworking methods.
After three years and countless sketches, prototypes, seating tests, patterns and 3D models, we cemented every last detail to achieve an accent piece with excellent comfort.
Then we took it to our creative director and weavers to create six timeless weaves and patterns using our Manila Cord. The result? We called it Chontales.
